FAQ
Will I notice the compression?
At the default quality (80) you can't tell on a screen. Drag the Compare line to check it on your own photo before downloading.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. They're compressed in your browser with its own image engine. You can even go offline after opening the page.
What about PNGs?
In Auto, a PNG becomes WebP: it keeps transparency and usually weighs 70–90% less. If you need PNG, pick PNG as the format.
What if my photo was already optimized?
If the compressed version is bigger than yours, we give you yours back and tell you. You'll never download a worse file.
How much does it cost?
